This sweet potato casserole recipe is so good that you will be making it for every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner from now on. This is a classic Southern dish that is more of a dessert than a side dish. The sweet potatoes are whipped with butter, sugar, milk, vanilla …and topped with a crunchy pecan and brown sugar topping. I like to make it in a shallow casserole dish so that each serving has its share of pecan topping.
