This is a quick and easy recipe to make and share at Christmastime or for any special occasion. My mother taught me how to make these candies when I was a little girl. I still remember how much fun I had helping her flavor the candy with peppermint oil and mixing in the green food color to get the perfect shade of minty green. Then we would spoon the candy out onto waxed paper in little quarter-sized circles. These delicious mints have a clear mint flavor and a smooth silky texture. Once you've had them you may never buy store bought mints again. |
